From July 18-23, RCSB PDB will be at the 75th Annual Meeting of the American Crystallographic Association in Lombard, IL. ACA is the Structural Science Society.

Presentations and activities will include:

• Friday July 18: Workshop #3 Enhancing PDB Deposition & Validation Practices Workshop. Registration will be available onsite.
• Friday July 18: Keynote presentation by RCSB PDB Director Stephen K. Burley
• Friday July 18-Monday July 21: RCSB PDB Exhibit Booth #36. Stop by to say hello and learn about the latest RCSB PDB news
• Saturday July 19: In the morning session General Interest I, two presentations from our biocuration team: Data Archive Challenge: Transitioning Users to New IDs and Data File Format at the PDB from Brian Hudson Streamlining OneDep Depositions of Multiple Related 3DEM Entries with pdb_extract from Justin Flatt
• Saturday July 19: In the afternoon session of the Transactions Symposium on AI and Multimethod Approaches, Brinda Vallat will present PDB-IHM: A System for Archiving and Dissemination of integrative structures
• Monday July 21: In the morning session on Managing High Data Rates in Structural Science, Brinda Vallat will present PDBx/mmCIF Ecosystem: Foundation for FAIR Access to Macromolecular Structure Data and Alison Biester will present Improving Data Representation of Metalloproteins in the PDB
• Monday Jul 21: Visit Yuhe Liang in the poster session for RCSB PDB: Driving Research and Education Using Experimentally-Determined Structures and Computed Structure Models from Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

The RCSB PDB Poster Prize will also be awarded to recognize a student poster presentation.

July's Molecule of the Month focus on Capturing Beta-Lactamase in Action describes serial femtosecond crystallography (SFX) and X-ray free-electron lasers (XFELs) which will also be discussed at this meeting.
